Master Bedroom {Emily's Bedroom}

"Ehhh..." Zerk groaned moodily as she poked him, rolling over to the other side of the bed with his back to her. He pushed his face into the pillow to stop the sunlight from shining on his eyes. "Barely" he grumbled from the softness of the cushion. He wondered what time it was, though he could tell it was early. His internal clock didn't wake him up until noon-ish. Surprisingly, he wasn't hit with that weird feeling some experience when sleeping in a new place, or in a different condition, for the first time. The thought of 'How did i get here, again?' never came to him. "It's quite pleasant waking up to your voice, though" he admitted, taking his face out the pillow for just a moment to speak, before pressing it back into it.
This morning, he was unnatural more tired than usual, most likely because he used his ability through the entire night, even as he slept. It was something he had never done before since he never had the need to keep anyone other than himself warm. He rarely ever felt cool or cold, being that he natural kept a higher body temperature than most other organisms.

Zerk rolled onto his back and looked up to the ceiling for a good while, pondering on if there was anything he needed to do today, or anything that required him to leave Emily's side. It seemed as though he was free for today, and for the most part the next week or so. With that out of the way, he turned on his side and looked at her, shaking his head. "That really isn't necessary. Relax." he said, as a suggestion. Zerk actually had no real necessity to eat or gain nourishment from any outside sources, though a few helped him. For the moment he felt alright, but wouldn't deny eating something if it made Emily happy. "And no, i'll probably be staying up now. Just give me some time to get out of bed."
His eyes drifted up to the top of her head, and he showed a sarcastic-like frown. It looked more like a disappointed expression. "I was waiting for an excuse to get out of bed, but it looks like i found one earlier than i thought i would." As Zerk spoke, he stood up from the bed and stretched his arms up into the air, then dropped them to his side as he walked around the bed to where she stood. "Let's see..." he mumbled to himself, then reached up with both hands to tidy up the bow sitting atop her head. It had become crushed when he put her to bed last night. He applied some heat to the tips of his fingers, pinched any wrinkles he saw, and dragged it along them until they were gone, like ironing in a way. Once he was satisfied, he took a step back and smiled, looking at the finished bow, free of wrinkles, folds, and looking just as lively as it did when he saw it yesterday blowing in the wind. "Perfect." Zerk commented, looking into her eyes now.

After the clothes were removed from Zerk's hand, he said "Take your time." before he closed the door. Turning to face the shower now, he made a fist and clenched it tightly, heating his surface of his skin to around three-hundred degrees. This would kill any germs that may have been living on his skin. As he approached the shower now, he made sure not to touch the plastic curtain when he stepped in. The cold water hitting against his hot skin began to instantly create a thick, misty steam cloud, turning the room into some sort of make-shift sauna. "Ahh..." he moaned out loud, instantly feeling clean as the water washed off all the dirt on him. When he showered this way, he had no need for soap and other chemicals, which he liked. He was never really fond of those sort of things.
A few minutes later, he stepped out the shower into the fogginess of the room, reaching out for a towel and wrapping it around his waist. He tucked it into itself so it would stay up on its own, then stepped out the shower, not bothering to dry out his hair at the moment, some of the steam following right behind him.
The leech on Zerk's body that usually resided on his abdomen, which looked like dancing ink blots in his skin, had moved down onto the part of his leg that wasn't visible. Not exactly sure at how Emily would react, he hid it from her until later.
