To the north [right] of the dining room is the kitchen, which can also be reached by walking directly forward from the foyer, under the stairway, and turning to the left. It seems, at times, to be a closed in circle all on its own, with tile floors covering up the old hardwood floors. Four windows light the room from the western wall at the back, overlooking the sink and the counters adjacent. To the right of the sink, as the wall takes a turn, is the dishwasher, and further right at another turn where the wall turns flat again, is the oven and range. Sticking partially into the tiled area between the dining room, kitchen, and family room is a small bar that can seat two people, with high, comfortable wooden chairs. Against the southern wall of the kitchen [northern wall of the dining room] is the refrigerator, a large, modern piece.
The kitchen and family room adjacent, aside from the upstairs bedrooms, are some of the most modern areas of the house, those having been the most needed to be remodeled. With a light cream paint job on the walls and pure white cabinets with decorative bronze handles, the kitchen is quaint and modern, mixing in well with the house’s previous style. The cabinets on the walls often hold spices or dishes, while the drawers just below the counters hold silverware and utensils, the cabinets below them holding cookware. The counters are granite-topped, with various other spices in jars lining the walls for both decoration and ease of use
In the middle of the kitchen is a medium sized island which has more drawers and storage space underneath. The island is mostly used for food preparation, and has many of the key utensils needed for most basic dishes stored in the drawers there.

Diamond walks into the kitchen with Zain, releasing his hand to she can go to the fridge. She looks back at him once she opens the door. "What do you feel like eating?"

Zain enters the kitchen after Diamond. "hm" He tilt his head towards the left. "I just have a fruit salad please and thank you" Looking back at her

She smiles and grabs a bowl of whole fruit from the fridge. She closes the door and puts the bowl on the table, taking out all the fruit placing them on the counter. She takes out a knife and begins peeling an orange with it. "You like alot of fruit?" She looks at Zain while she peels.

He watched her take out the friut from the fridge. "Yeah. I do like a lot of fruit" he grinned when she looked at him. "Do you like fruit?"

"Mmhm!" She nods her head. She looks down at the bowl that was now filled with diced fruit. "I like anything sweet!" She giggles and slides to bowl across the counter to him with a fork. "There you go!" She peels a whole banana and starts eating it.

Zaind nods and He stopped the bowl once it got close to him "Again I must say thank you" and picked up the fork and start to eat his fruit salad. "Ah. What a wonderful dish" he says after sallowing

Diamond giggles softly, half done with her banana. "You're welcome." She finishes the banana and speaks with her mouth half full, her words being muffled a bit. "I'm glad you like it. The plants are to thank." She smiles.

Zain finshes about half of his salad"hm. Oh yes I could forget about them" he smiles "Thank you for the fruit, plants." Then he finishes the rest of his salad

She smiles and tosses the banana peel into the trash. She takes a cup and fills it with water. Walks over to the plant near the window of the kitchen and pours water into it. "I love flowers."

Zain walks overs towards the plant. Making sure he dosen't get in the way of Diamond. "I love all plant life. But I do love trees most of all"

She stops pouring the water not wanting to drown the flower. She looks at Zain. "Trees? Hm..." She thinks for a momment.

"Yes" He looks at Diamond. Wodnering what she is thinking about. Then he looks at the plant she just water.

"I tried to climb a tree once when I was a little..." She sighs. "It didn't go so well."

"I see You fell down and hurt yourself?" Looks back at Diamond.Placing a his hand on her shoulder.

She smiles. "How'd you know that?"

"It was just a lucky guess. I can't read minds or anything like that" he chuckles. Placing his hand back down to his side

She giggles. "Well in this world you never know who can do what." She looks at her right leg and points to a spot on her dress close to her upper thigh. "The fall left me a big scar right here."

"hm. The people here aren't your everyday humans I guess". Then he looks at the spot that she pointed too. "hm"

"Most of them aren't even human." She giggles and takes her hand from her leg placing it on the counter and sighs. "I think that was the most painful day of my life."

Zain thought to hiself. "Well. I should watched my back around here. There most likey some evil creatures or people here that are powerful" He placed his left hand over his eyepatch thinking back. Then puts his left hand back down. "Well at least you learn form your mistakes right?" He smiles somewhat
