Wolf's Run Lane 107

Swiftly reaching the front gates of the foreign estate, her breath rapidly released small clouds of white as her chest rose and fell. Jamming her fist into her brother’s jacket pocket to snatch the key, her trembling fingers fiddled with the four or five different keys until one slid in with three clicks into the regular door to the right of the gates, throwing it open and running towards the place she’d call home, the sound of her books clacking against the pavement loudly and hastily.

“I don’t like this world. I have a bad feeling this will tear him apart… I don’t want to lose Riri, I already lost Jona and everyone else…”

Following slowly from the riverside, Logan trudged up the path and slipped silently inside the gates. His soundless movements were yet another contrast to his sister, his impassive face whitewashed of the emotions that clouded hers. He waited at the gate until she had gone inside before following again.
She needs her time to cool down...I knew moving her here would be hard. That leech just made things twice as hard as they needed to be.

*os walks up to the gate and looks at it*

*he rings the buzzer*

His hand grasping the door tightly, Logan thew the heavy oaken door open with, what was for him, a loud slam. Barechested and with hair still damp, he glowered down at the halfbreed vampire standing on his porch, his crimson irises visible over the lenses of his glasses. As he stood, the wind ruffled his hair back a little, a few stray snowflakes sticking to his chest and melting almost instantaneously
"What do you want, leech? You'd best have a good reason for showing up here," he rumbled quietly, his voice dark.

*he looks at him with his bright blue eyes*
I think we got off on the wrong foot. I'd like to privately talk to you

For a moment, he scanned the vampire without moving, his knuckles white as they clutched the doorframe and handle. At last, he nodded curtly and stepped aside, gesturing down the hallway towards another door he'd passed, close to his room--his office.
"This way, then. You'd do well to note that I don't care about scorch marks in the house; they're easy to clean up, making you equally easy to erase."
He made no move until the vampire would move, keeping him in his line of sight.

Zwei paced left and right in front of the wooden, bolted doors as his flaming tail flicked side to side, orange cinders flicking up into the air then disappearing. A deep growl resonated from his chest as he stopped pacing, his ears flicking up and his wings unraveling from around Izaya. She opened her eyes slowly, coming to, and looked around, her skin a few shades paler from the blood loss. “Zwei, wo... sind wir?” She asked weakly, her breathing coming out in cloudy, labored breaths. Her body shifted slightly as she moved her leg over Zwei’s back, making an attempt to get off of her summon.

His breath coming out in hot clouds of white air, his chest rising and falling substantially as he panted, Logan bolted up his front walk way. He did not slow, nor did he stop, as he approached Zwei, only to pick up Izaya carefully into his arms. Giving a nod of thanks to Zwei, he hurriedly unlocked his door and darted inside.
