Situated at the best, or perhaps the worst, spot for the development of storms within the layers of the atmosphere, this particular region of the skies remains entrapped within an incessant vortex of varying storms—a maelstrom. The Jet Stream winds about it cautiously, shooting off without warning into its heart at times, and supplies the storms with their vicious winds. Precipitation ranges from rain to hail to snow as one climbs through the varying layers of clouds, should one even make it past the outer vacuum. Few creatures inhabit this area because of its dangerous propensity for thunderstorms, which make flying deadly. | |
