Alissa's Room

First topic message reminder :

Despite the cabin look, Alissa's room is done fancily, with no windows. There is an overhead light almost like a chandelier, the bed is fairly large with red blankets and off-white sheets and red pillow cases, there is a canopy around the bed. There's no carpeting in the room, only hardwood floors.

"I never said you were lying." Claudia stepped through the door and wrinkled her nose some "Do you have raw meat somewhere? I can smell blood, you know." Her eyes darted around the room and she took a few steps forward.

Alissa shut the door as Claudia walked through and she stood back against it, continuing to keep her arm hidden from her sight, "Yeah....uh.....it's in the kitchen....I didn't think you'd have this good of a sense of smell..." She quickly grabbed a jacket off the back of the door and placed it on so her arm was hidden, "I feel a bit chilly.....so, uh, what movie do you want to watch?"

Claudia looked around for a moment "My senses are heightened because I am part leopard." Moving toward the couch, Claudia sat down and watched Alissa "I don't care what we watch. Up to you." Claudia smiled.

Alissa nodded, "Yes, of course...." She blinked some and looked at Claudia before going and grabbing a movie and walking over the couch, standing beside her, "Well, uhm, how about....Sucker Punch, then...?" She looked over at the bathroom door, "Oh yeah....y-you can't use the bathroom, uhm.....there's something wrong with the plumbing....I need to get it fixed."

Claudia's eyes darted to the bathroom and she frowned a little but then looked at Alissa and smiled "I used the bathroom before I came. And, that movie sounds fine." Claudia tapped her fingers on the arm of the couch "Are you sure everything is alright?"

Alissa looked to Claudia immediately, "Wha.....o-of course everything is fine." She smiled some at her before going over and sitting down on the couch beside her after placing the movie in and turning everything on, her arm pulled up into the jacket so the bandaged hand was hidden along with the rest of the arm.

Claudia frowned while looking at Alissa "Only one arm is cold?" Claudia sighed and turned to face the TV screen. Claudia leaned back a little and yawned some.

Alissa blinked some as she looked over to Claudia, "N-no....that's um.....it's just that for some reason that hand was cold as well.....but this one isn't as cold...." She herself frowned some and looked to the TV screen.

Claudia looked over to Alissa again "That was a lie. Now tell me what is going on." Claudia moved closer to Alissa and watched her.

Alissa stared at the screen and responded softly, "Nothing is going on." She slowly turned the red eyes of her older form to look at Claudia, her eyes dull as she did.

"Okay. I will just look for myself.." Claudia turned away from Alissa and stood. She glanced over her shoulder at Alissa before walking toward the bathroom.

Alissa quickly stood and placed her hand on the couch, leaping over it, "I-I told you! Th-the bathroom is out of order!" she ran after Claudia and grabbed a hold of her wrist with the hand that was uninjured, holding in a wince due to having used the other to get over the couch.

Claudia stopped and closed her eyes for a moment before looking at Alissa. Her usual emerald eyes were now deep "My brother was a plumber...I can help." Claudia glanced at Alissa's other arm before yanking her own wrist out of Alissa's grip. "I can help." Claudia began to move toward the bathroom.

Alissa stared at Claudia a moment before turning away, "Tch." She couldn't think of anymore excuses, so she headed out of the room into the kitchen, slamming the door behind herself as she went over to the sink, pulling the jacket off and dropping it to the floor before reaching her arm over the sink and unwrapping the bloody bandages, wincing as she went back to removing pieces of the mirror from her arm and hand.

Claudia nodded as Alissa went on her way into the the next room. Claudia had reached the bathroom door and pulled it open. A small gasp was released from her wet lips and she stared into the horror of the blood and glass "...what the hell?" Claudia sighed and closed the door. "Alissa...Alissa!"

Alissa sighed some, not even having finished removing the pieces of the mirror from her skin before she turned and walked over to the table, grabbing a chair and walking to the door, propping it up under the handle to keep it still, "Forgive me...." She turned away and went back to the sink, continuing what she had been doing previously before adding quietly, "I can't let you see me like this." She sighed as she found the arm unresponsive to her telling it to move, so she went over the counter and grabbed a knife before heading back to the sink.

Claudia's eyes were wide with fear "What are you talking about?" rushing to the kitchen door Claudia couldn't budge it Open the damn door!" Claudia's voice held worriment and anger.

Alissa shook her head, a small tear sliding down her face, "No...." She took the knife and placed it against her forearm where the injuries ended and dug the blade into her skin, letting out a slight whimper of pain before letting go of the knife, leaving it in the arm and reaching over to grab a wooden spoon, placing it into her mouth and biting down before going back to the knife, letting out slight cries that were quieted by her biting on the spoon.

Claudia's ear caught the sound of the whimper and she threw her body at the door "Let me in!! Dammit Alissa, let me in!!!" Claudia threw her body at the door again

Alissa didn't respond, though she bit down harder on the spoon, actually breaking through the wood, so she responded in a shaky voice, "No.....not until after......you can't see me like this...." She looked to the arm that had the knife stuck in it and began to move it around, working on amputating it since she couldn't move it anyway, the sink filling with blood, listening to Claudia throw herself against the door, which would surely give if she hit it another time.

"Until what!?" Claudia's eyes were bright sea green and she threw herself at the door again, so much harder than before "Alissa!!" Once again and one more throw. Claudia's body was weak and sore but the door had been broken.

Alissa blinked as she heard the door come down and looked over her shoulder, "C-Claudia....." She looked back to her arm, the knife was in a different place now, beneath one of the last and larger shards of the mirror and she flicked the knife upward to push it out of her arm. It seemed she had changed her mind at the last minute as the cut from before was still across her arm, but she wasn't going with it anymore, "Claudia.....go back into the room....I'll be in in a minute...."

Claudia's eyes remained the same sea green color and her breathing was hot. "What is the matter with you?" Claudia stormed over to Alissa and grabbed her shoulder, yanking her hard so that Alissa was facing her "What happened in the bathroom and what in the hell happened to your arm?"

Alissa found herself facing Claudia, some tears in her eyes as she looked at her, the knife still held in her hand and the blade near the skin, and there being nothing more to remove from it she pulled it away and slammed it into the counter, blood and pieces of glass all through the sink, though her arm was still a bloody mess as she looked at her, "I.....I told you to go back into the room...." She slowly turned her head away from her.

Claudia's hot breath was fierce. "I don't give a damn what you told me! What happened? What were you doing? Are you trying to kill yourself?!" Claudia's hand reached for Alissa again but stopped and fell to the side. Claudia's eyes stung with hot tears "Tell me what happened and I will go away..."
