| Alaina walked into the kitchen, looking at the food along the shelves, although she seen many things, nothing she wanted to eat at that moment. Her body shivered as her bare feet touched the ground moving along, sitting at a chair with a coffee in her hand, yawning slightly as she did. Her body was small, and her body was covered in a small silk night dress, it just passed her ass as she sat down. | |

| It was rare for him to see the morning and see the sun up so early. It alway seemed like he was only awake during the night time so it was refreshing to see a new star. His nightwear was rather simple; a black t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. He stretched a bit walking into the kitchen. His hair was already a mess to begin with however his bed-head was even worst. It was more wild than usual. He opening the refrigerator, scanning for something to eat. He never really found the difference between breakfast, lunch and dinner. In his mind, he was tempted to just make a hamburger for himself. As he turned around, to his surprise, it was the girl back at the coastline. He blinked a few times trying to digest the fact that she was here. He remembered that when he applied for a home, he did have a roommate. Was his roommate her? He started to reconsider his breakfast and simply grabbed an apple. He tossed it around a few times until he sat at the table with Alaina.
"Well, I wasn't expecting to see you so soon again. Nor did I expect you to be my roommate." He said with a small dull grin.

| Alaina turned her head and looked at Lewin, "Nor did I." She rolled her eyes, sipping more coffee, the last she seen Lewin, she almost died again, by falling off a cliff that time. "Well, I guess fate has different ideas." She let out a tiny laugh, her eyes moved around the room, "Very interesting place that we live in, would you not agree?" She looked towards him, smiling a little. Her tiny body shifted in the chair, so she was sitting straight. Still looking at Lewin, she yawned a little. "Well, I guess I should eat, but I didn't see anything, would you mind something other then that apple? I am a great cook after all." She smiled, raseing up, her gown now in full view. She walked over towards the cup boards, grabbing flower and other things. "Do you like pancakes?" She giggled, grabbing eggs, and milk. Then turned towards him tilting her head as her hair moved to the side of her face, "Well?" She purred slightly, in a joking matter.
Alaina looked at him, her tiny body seemed so break able, she her self, most likely was, but never though of trying to break herself.

| He smiled and took a bite off his apple. She seemed like an almost completely different person from the last time he saw her. Her happy mood was almost contagious. The sound of pancakes was enough to almost make his mouth water. Its been awhile since he's actually had a real meal so he considered it to be a treat.
"Oh are you now? I guess I'm lucky to have you as a roommate then. I wouldn't mind having some pancakes." He continued smiling and munching on his apple. He personally didn't like to cook so that could probably be the reason why he never had good meal. He felt like he was in a good old American suburbia. The wife would do the cooking as the husband would sit at the table reading his newspaper. Although he didn't have a newspaper, he did have an apple so that must have counted for something right? None the less, he continued the conversation.
"Interesting?" He looked around the room and rubbed his chin. "I don't know. Its a bit generic in my eyes but I can't complain. Home is home correct?"

| Alaina smiled, "I guess so. Home can be many different things, I never really could say I had a good home, or a bad one. It was in between." She smiled, and begun flipping the pancakes, "I was taught many different things, one of them were the old way of life, the women did most of the house work, cooking, cleaning, taking care of things." She shrugged. "I guess I will always been like that." She laughed a little, placing the pancakes on a plate, "How many would you please to have Lewin?" She mummered, looking down as she added more mix onto the pan. Her eyes stayed fixed onto the pan, she didn't want to burn them, each one was a golden brown color.
Alaina turned and looked at him, before she stopped a waiting for his answer as she did. There was no pancakes on, but a lot of mix left, waiting for him, she couldn't help but think of her parents, her so called father sat at the table, reading while her mother cooked, and she sat in front of Papa, waiting for breakfast to be severed. She smiled at her thoughts, they always made her happy...

| "None the less a home, good, bad or in between." He said slowly with good diction. Once again, he took a bite of his apple. It was nearly reduced down to nothing. When it finally reached the core, he slowly got up and threw it out. He looked in the refrigerator for something to drink. He grabbed some orange juice and looked over at Alaina.
"Do you want me to refill your coffee or anything?" He asked out of pure manners. He looked in the cupboards for a glass and filled it with juice, waiting for a reply.
"I see. A bit cliché for women to be so traditional now-a-days." He wasn't used to having girls being so old-fashioned. Now-a-days, genders are considered equal so it was just a bit strange in his eyes to have a girl wait on him. He looked back at Alaina, thinking over how many pancakes he wanted. Lewin always had a rather large appetite. Despite his low weight, he always ate like a king when he can. Although tempted to say 10, he responded with a lower number.
"Three will be fine." He said, not wanting to over-work Alaina. He sat down at his juice.

| Alaina nodded, smiling. "Alright, I made more then three, I myself am not that hungry at all. But if you please for more, they are there." She smiled, and placed the plate on the table, bring out two other plates. "My coffee is fine." She smiled once more, grabbing syrup out of the fridge, her eyes looked at him smiling a little as she took one off the plate, and put a tiny bit of syrup on it, as she started to eat. Her tiny body didn't need that much to eat, but what she did filled her up very much.
"I've also seen that new aged thing a lot more, but of course... I guess others don't see that the older times were some-what better then what it is now." She laughed a little, her body shivered, as she was sitting. "I remember my Papa, while I slept at night or when I should had been, yelling at my ma'ma. They would fight over who loved the other the most, Papa always won, because he had the louder voice, of course, the two would be drinking." She sighed, her parents.. Or well, what were like her parents was something she missed the most. "But life moves on, and I was sent here for some reason."
Alaina looked over towards Lewin, "Fate brings each and every single one of us different meanings, I wish to live the meaning as much as I can." She whispered.

| Lewin began to eat his pancakes subconsciously, listening to Alaina's story. He couldn't exactly agree with Alaina completely however, he valued her opinion none the less. He wasn't looking at his plate but in a matter of minutes, his first too pancakes were already gone. He was lucky that he was active and had a good metabolism. Otherwise, the weight probably would have caught up with him a long time ago.
"It all has to do with perspective Alaina." He smiled to himself. He took another pancake and started to smear butter and syrup on it. "Back then, men were considered far more superior to women. I see less abuse towards women because a number of them have learned to taken a stand for themselves and not let the arrogance of others win. Perhaps the idea of equality has won their hearts. Perhaps this new age has given women a chance to stand up to themselves. Whether they do or not will all be up to them. None the less, they have a choice now. "
He continued to eat like royalty of course, unaware of how many pancakes he was eating. Possibly on his eighth. His stomach was always unsatisfied so naturally, he ate more than needed.
"Fate is something that you subconsciously decide. If you want to know your reason, you would have to ask yourself since it was your hand that wrote it in the first place." He said pausing for a second. He gave his pancakes a break and started to wipe his month. "Ah, thank you for the pancakes. It was delicious."

| Alaina smiled, listening to what he said nodding, "It was nothing Lewin, I enjoy cooking." She smiled, standing up, grabbing the plates and going to the skin, she begun to clean them. She hummed to herself as she cleaned, "But if you would understand, fate is much like death. Death has brought us all our own ways to die." She mummered, and finished cleaning, she turned to look at him, "but we could always cheat death, only then will it skip us, and move to the next, only to return." She mummered, "but I must go get dressed, I will talk to you another time, maybe at lunch." She smiled, laughing a little. Looking at him, her eyes looking into his as she did.

| He stretched a bit and took his plate and looked over at Alaina extending a hand, offering to take her plate if she was done. At the very least, he should do the dishes. He didn't have much to do today so it wouldn't exactly bother him. It was his way of saying thank you as well.
"Fate isn't 'much like death'. It is death and so is love and so is living in general. You cannot cheat death and by relativity, you cannot cheat your fate because new chapters are always being written there by you. In other words, you cannot cheat yourself." He placed his plate in the sink and leaned on the wall for a second. "But what do I know?" He said simply. He always ended his introspectiveness in those four words: What do I know?.
"None the less, I don't want to hold you up so I'll just take your dishes."

Hundreds upon thousands of people are being ripped from the comfort of their lives and thrown into a chaotic world that now house generations of beings--humans and otherwise. Survival of the fittest is a key asset on this planet and bonds amongst others must be made. Not much is known of this planet but one thing.
We're never getting back.
