The Foyer

Upon entering the house, Logan breathed a deep sigh, shutting the door behind himself and leaning against it's heavy oaken panelling. For a moment, as he let the duffel bag fall to the floor, he did nothing other than rest himself. Shutting his eyes, he removed his glasses and rubbed at the bridge of his nose, exhaling silently.
"Luminesa?" he finally called quietly.
He knew by her smell that she was still in the house, but upon receiving no reply, he grunted and picked up the bags again, wandering the ground floor to look for a room. He preferred the ground floor so as to keep a better eye and defense on his sister, so if he were to pick a room, he would attempt to find one here.
At least, he said softly to himself, she knows i'm in the house.

Eerily calm as he had been when he left the walkways, Logan left the kitchen. With a sigh, he raked his fingers through his hair, growling under his breath at having to leave his sister at such a time. As he approached the door, his eyes darkened in fury, and one word hissed out.
"Leech..."

The first hurried stride into his foyer told him that the house was empty, and that his sister was no longer here. Her scent was the only one aside from his that was fresh, and so he knew she had left of her own will.
She's not well enough to leave yet! he thought indignantly, frowning.
Glancing to Izaya, however, he pushed the thought aside in favor of her health. He would reprimand his sister later. Holding Izaya tightly, yet gently, to his chest, he whispered a desparate plea for her to hold on for him, and strode quickly to his room. With one hand, he unlocked the door and shouldered it open and left it as such in his haste to enter his room.
